About the Award
Honouring Architectural Legacy
The Lifetime Achievement Award honours architects and industry leaders whose work has made a lasting contribution to architecture and the built environment. Dedicated to professionals with decades of experience and an exceptional body of work, the award celebrates visionary careers that have influenced the way we design, build, and experience spaces around the world.
Presented as one of the highest distinctions of the European Architecture Design Award™, this recognition celebrates individuals whose contributions extend beyond architecture itself — through innovation, cultural impact, mentorship, research, sustainability, education, and leadership within the global architectural community.
Each year, nominations are submitted by jury members, academic institutions, industry professionals, and invited partners. There is no fee to nominate, and all applications must be completed before the EADA final deadline.
